This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with both internal and external Cogent stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and implement key strategies and tactics.
• Partner with external healthcare professionals at major healthcare systems and laboratories nationwide to ensure access to treatment following FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Plan and carry out KOL engagements and executive meetings at local, regional, and national conferences, POAs, field visits, and other compliant venues.
• Identify and prioritize innovative programming and venues for investment.
• Emphasize the experience of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Integrate into targeted healthcare systems by consistently providing value and differentiating Cogent from its competitors.
• Assist corporate and field colleagues during launch preparations in a fast-paced specialty market.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute business plans as a member of the Customer Engagement team.
• Develop and maintain account and contact information within the CRM system.
• Ensure budgets and timelines align with corporate requirements.
• Incorporate regulatory and legal compliance into daily operations and business practices.
• Report to the Executive Director, National Precision Medicine Executives.
• A BA/BS degree or an equivalent healthcare qualification is required.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and/or medical fields.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and the broader healthcare landscape.
• At least 5+ years of combined experience in specialty and/or rare diseases, with a preference for Hematology/Oncology.
• Proven capability to access and influence C/D-Suite level clients.
• A collaborative and organizationally astute team player with a track record of success in a matrixed environment.
• Strong skills in negotiation, partnership, and influence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage business relationships with external strategic partners.
• Prior experience working with large accounts and/or hospitals is required.
• Expert at navigating complexities and removing obstacles.
• Successful experience in product launches is required.
• Previous experience in a pharma/biotech start-up is preferred.
• Experience in Diagnostic/Precision Medicine is preferred.
• Technologically adept and dedicated to utilizing data and advanced analytics on a daily basis.
• Willingness to travel frequently overnight, including occasional weekend travel, based on business needs.
