This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as an essential member of the Customer Engagement Team and the Precision Medicine organization.
• Integrate Cogent within major healthcare systems throughout the United States.
• Offer regional diagnostic expertise and initiatives while managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Engage healthcare professionals to create educational platforms that support brand and disease-state strategies.
• Collaborate with national and regional KOLs to align and resource Cogent’s cross-functional commercial strategy.
• Work alongside Customer Engagement, Commercial Learning & Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Market Access & Trade, Medical Science/Affairs, and Legal & Compliance stakeholders.
• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to implement strategies and tactics that advance business goals.
• Partner with healthcare professional stakeholders at key healthcare systems and laboratories across the U.S. to guarantee treatment access and availability post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, cultivate, and sustain long-term KOL relationships.
• Plan and execute compliant KOL engagements and executive interactions at conferences, POAs, field visits, and other venues.
• Identify and prioritize innovative programming and venues for investment.
• Focus on enhancing the experiences of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Establish a strong presence in target healthcare systems by delivering consistent value and differentiating from competitors.
• Assist in launch preparations and guide corporate and field colleagues through a dynamic specialty market.
• Implement and drive business plans cross-functionally as a member of the Customer Engagement team.
• Maintain account and contact information in the CRM system.
• Ensure that budgets and schedules comply with corporate standards.
• Integrate regulatory and legal compliance into daily operations.
• Report to the Executive Director of National Precision Medicine Executives.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent healthcare degree is required.
• At least 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical fields.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace and comprehensive knowledge of industry and broader healthcare trends.
• Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience in specialty and/or rare diseases.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
• Proven capability to access and influence C/D-Suite level customers.
• A successful track record in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent negotiation, partnering, and influencing abilities.
• Proficient in managing business relationships with external strategic partners.
• Prior experience in large accounts and/or hospitals is required.
• Skilled at navigating complexities and overcoming barriers to achieve corporate goals.
• Demonstrated experience in successful product launches is required.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech start-up is preferred.
• Prior experience in Diagnostic/Precision medicine is preferred.
• Technologically adept and committed to utilizing data and advanced analytics on a daily basis.
• Willingness to travel frequently overnight, with occasional weekend travel based on business requirements.
