This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as an essential member of the Customer Engagement Team within Cogent’s Precision Medicine division.
• Integrate Cogent within prominent healthcare systems throughout the United States.
• Offer regional diagnostic expertise and manage key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop educational platforms that support brand and disease-state initiatives.
• Work alongside national and regional KOLs to align and resource Cogent’s comprehensive commercial strategy.
• Partner with stakeholders from Customer Engagement, Commercial Learning & Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Market Access & Trade, Medical Science/Affairs, and Legal & Compliance.
• Align and implement strategies and tactics that further business objectives.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals at significant healthcare systems and laboratories to ensure treatment accessibility following FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with KOLs.
• Plan and carry out compliant KOL engagements and executive interactions at conferences, POAs, field visits, and other venues.
• Identify and prioritize innovative programming and venues for investment.
• Emphasize the experience of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Become integrated into target healthcare systems by providing consistent value.
• Assist corporate and field-based colleagues during launch preparations and within a dynamic specialty market.
• Implement business plans and serve as a vital member of the Customer Engagement Team.
• Maintain account and contact information in the CRM system.
• Ensure budgets and timelines align with corporate standards.
• Integrate regulatory and legal compliance into daily operations.
• Report to the Executive Director of National Precision Medicine.
• A BA/BS or a healthcare equivalent degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical fields is required.
• Robust knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace is essential.
• A deep comprehension of industry trends and broader movements in the healthcare landscape is necessary.
• At least 5+ years of combined experience in specialty and/or rare diseases is required.
• Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C/D-Suite level customers.
• A successful history of working in a matrixed environment.
• Strong negotiation, collaboration, and influence skills are necessary.
• Ability to effectively manage business relationships with external strategic partners.
• Previous experience working with large accounts and/or hospitals is required.
• Expertise in navigating complexities and overcoming barriers to achieve corporate objectives.
• Successful product launch experience is essential.
• Prior experience in a pharma/biotech start-up is preferred.
• Previous experience in Diagnostic/Precision medicine is preferred.
• Technologically adept with a commitment to utilizing data and advanced analytics daily.
• Must be willing to travel frequently overnight, with occasional weekend travel, based on business needs.
