This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Integrate Cogent within key healthcare systems throughout the United States.
• Offer regional diagnostic expertise and initiatives while managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Engage healthcare professionals to develop educational platforms that support brand and disease-state strategies.
• Collaborate with national and regional KOLs to ensure that the commercial strategy is well understood and adequately resourced.
• Work alongside stakeholders from Customer Engagement, Commercial Learning & Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Market Access & Trade, Medical Science/Affairs, and Legal & Compliance.
• Align and implement strategies and tactics that support business objectives.
• Partner with healthcare professionals at major U.S. healthcare systems and laboratories to guarantee access to Cogent treatments post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, develop, and sustain long-term relationships with KOLs.
• Plan and conduct compliant KOL engagements and executive meetings at conferences, POAs, field visits, and other relevant venues.
• Identify and prioritize programming and venues for investment.
• Focus on enhancing the experience of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Become deeply integrated within targeted healthcare systems and distinguish Cogent through consistent value delivery.
• Assist in launch preparations and provide support to corporate and field colleagues in navigating an evolving specialty market.
• Implement business plans in a cross-functional manner as part of the Customer Engagement team.
• Maintain accurate account and contact information in CRM systems.
• Ensure that budgets and schedules comply with corporate standards.
• Embed regulatory and legal compliance into everyday operations.
• Report to the Executive Director, National Precision Medicine Executives.
• BA/BS or an equivalent degree in healthcare is required.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and/or medical fields.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and the broader healthcare landscape.
• At least 5+ years of combined experience in specialty and/or rare diseases, with a preference for Hematology/Oncology.
• Demonstrated ability to access and influence C/D-Suite-level customers.
• Proven track record of success in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent negotiation, partnership, and influencing abilities.
• Capability to manage business relationships with external strategic partners.
• Previous experience in large accounts and/or hospitals is essential.
• Expertise in navigating complexities and overcoming obstacles to achieve corporate goals.
• Successful experience with product launches is required.
• Technologically adept and committed to using data and advanced analytics daily.
• Willingness to travel frequently overnight, with occasional weekend travel depending on business needs.
