This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as an essential member of the Customer Engagement Team within Cogent’s Precision Medicine division.
• Integrate Cogent into prominent healthcare systems throughout the United States.
• Offer regional diagnostic expertise and spearhead initiatives and KOL management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create educational platforms that support both current and future brand/disease-state strategies.
• Work alongside national and regional Key Opinion Leaders to ensure that the cross-functional commercial strategy is comprehended and adequately resourced.
• Partner with stakeholders from Customer Engagement, Commercial Learning & Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Market Access & Trade, Medical Science/Affairs, and Legal & Compliance.
• Align and implement key strategies and tactics with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with healthcare systems and laboratories across the U.S. to ensure accessibility and availability of Cogent treatments post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, cultivate, and sustain long-term KOL relationships.
• Plan and execute compliant KOL engagements and executive meetings at conferences, POAs, field visits, and other settings.
• Identify and prioritize innovative programming and venues for investment.
• Focus on enhancing the experience for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Integrate into target healthcare systems and distinguish Cogent through consistent value delivery.
• Assist in launch preparations and aid corporate and field colleagues in navigating a dynamic specialty market.
• Implement and execute business plans as a collaborative member of the Customer Engagement team.
• Keep account and contact information updated in the CRM system.
• Ensure that budgets and schedules align with corporate expectations.
• Embed regulatory and legal compliance into daily operations.
• Report to the Executive Director, National Precision Medicine Executives.
• BA/BS or an equivalent degree in healthcare is required.
• A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and/or medical fields.
• Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace and a deep grasp of industry trends and the broader healthcare landscape.
• At least 5+ years of combined experience in specialty and/or rare diseases; experience in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
• Proven capability to access and influence customers at the C/D-Suite level.
• A collaborative and organizationally astute team player with a track record of success in a matrixed environment.
• Strong negotiation, partnership, and influencing abilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing business relationships with external strategic partners.
• Previous experience working with large accounts and/or hospitals is required.
• Expertise in navigating complexities and overcoming barriers to advance corporate goals.
• Successful experience in product launches is required.
• Technologically proficient and dedicated to utilizing data and advanced analytics on a daily basis.
• Willingness to travel frequently overnight, with occasional weekend travel as business needs dictate.
