This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +14 more states.
• Act as the technical representative for Praxent’s Microsoft channel within the financial services sector.
• Collaborate with Microsoft account teams to uncover opportunities and assess fit.
• Engage with FSI executives and architects to identify viable funding solutions.
• Manage comprehensive proposals, encompassing pricing, scoping, requirements gathering, and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation.
• Co-lead requests for proposals (RFPs) alongside the sales team.
• Develop total cost of ownership and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
• Estimate Azure consumption increases.
• Identify and secure qualifying funding from Microsoft partners.
• Produce proofs of concept (POCs) and working artifacts within hours or days.
• Design solutions utilizing the Microsoft stack and provide clear scopes to delivery teams.
• Advocate for Praxent’s AI-native delivery model to technical decision-makers.
• Transform successful strategies into reusable FSI intellectual property and scalable offerings.
• Contribute to the development of the pre-sales practice and demand generation efforts.
• Qualify opportunities presented by sellers and the Microsoft field.
• Background in financial services, with a solid understanding of lending, core banking, and payments.
• Over 10 years of experience in financial services technology.
• More than 7 years working within or alongside the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Established relationships and a working understanding of the Microsoft co-sell process.
• Familiarity with Partner Center, co-sell ready offerings, MACC, and partner funding mechanisms.
• Experience in pricing proposals, defining scopes, drafting signed SOWs, and developing effort models.
• Established credibility with CIOs and CEOs, coupled with concise communication skills.
• Comfort with managing $2–3M+ multi-year, multi-faceted deal sizes.
• Working knowledge of the regulatory landscape in financial services.
• Credibility in Azure architecture.
• AZ-305 certification preferred, or a willingness to obtain it within six months.
• Ability to outline agentic solutions utilizing Foundry, Agent 365, evaluations, human-in-the-loop processes, and audit logging.
• Understanding of the costs associated with operating agents at scale.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Purview, Azure Databricks, accolades as Microsoft Partner of the Year or relevant Microsoft experience, development of FSI-specific intellectual property or accelerators, practice or offering development, and AI-assisted engineering workflows are advantageous.
