Practice Insights Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Convert data into actionable insights that enhance business decision-making, operational efficiency, customer engagement, and process improvements driven by analytics.

• Create, maintain, and analyze both recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visual representations.

• Deliver reporting and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders using business intelligence tools.

• Conduct data mining and analysis to uncover trends, root causes, risks, opportunities, and performance indicators.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for stakeholders and leadership teams.

• Interpret business inquiries and operational requirements into data specifications, analysis plans, and reporting deliverables.

• Present analyses utilizing data storytelling and visualization methods.

• Suggest enhancements for reporting, dashboards, processes, and analytics.

• Assist in the development of analytics products through requirements gathering, data discovery, solution design, testing, implementation, documentation, and enhancements.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Lead, and Senior Analyst to perform issue investigations, data validation, report execution, business process analysis, and project assistance.

• Engage in project planning, requirements assessment, solution testing, and implementation tasks.

• Record defects and confirm solutions prior to deployment.

• Create and uphold standard operating procedures, business rules, report logic, and accompanying documentation.

• Develop, test, and sustain interactive visualizations and tabular reporting applications.

• Work closely with business users, analytics teams, IT, and cross-functional partners.

• Address departmental and leadership inquiries with targeted analysis and decision-support materials.

• Facilitate data quality verification, business rule enforcement, and information lifecycle practices.

• Utilize sanctioned AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance efficiency and analytics outputs.

• Identify and report data quality, process, or system challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive training in business administration, statistics, economics, data and analytics, computer science, mathematics, healthcare analytics, or related fields, typically acquired through a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent professional experience.

• 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible and directly related experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, analytics support, or a similar domain.

• Experience with commercial-grade data and analytics products.

• Preferred experience in healthcare, pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, sales operations, customer analytics, or business operations analytics.

• Strong analytical capabilities with business-level data from diverse sources.

• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts, reporting lifecycle methodologies, and data warehouse applications.

• Proficient with Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of relational database concepts and familiarity with SQL Server, MS Access, SQL, or similar data access tools.

• Ability to gather, document, and translate business needs into reporting or analytical solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of clearly communicating analysis results and creating presentation materials for leadership discussions.
