Practice Architect I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee various consulting and delivery projects along with account teams/programs in the Intrusion and Security Sector.

• Ensure consulting and delivery assurance across consulting, account engagement, service provision, and practice execution.

• Comprehend customer business and technical needs based on the solution and the agreed-upon statement of work.

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to develop and enhance solution designs.

• Manage expectations while addressing project, stakeholder, and delivery challenges.

• Coordinate the assembly of delivery teams across practice support, delivery, and account teams.

• Aggregate delivery status and cost information.

• Handle and communicate delivery escalations effectively.

• Implement knowledge management alongside the transfer of sales/solutions-to-delivery knowledge.

• Manage delivery-related risks, issues, and change control processes.

• Conduct project/program analyses, product-line assessments, and health evaluations.

• Foster customer referenceability and nurture customer/account relationships.

• Enhance practice pipeline and product-line attributes through metrics and market/technology analysis.

• Assist in the development and execution of account strategies.

• Capture and develop reusable intellectual property and best practices.

• Oversee customer requirements, contracts, deliverables, costs, timelines, risks, assumptions, and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain engagement profitability while supporting future business opportunities.

• Ensure adherence to delivery management methodologies.

• Mentor, manage, and develop teams consisting of 3 to 10 members.

• Conduct annual reviews and provide ongoing feedback regarding employee performance.

• Communicate and implement HR policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in logistically complex project management, information technology, and/or professional services, with a focus on subject matter expertise.

• Proven experience in delivering projects/programs and managing client professional services agreements, including change management processes.

• Regular interactions with external customers at the Director level or higher; typical interactions at the CXO level.

• Established consulting and interpersonal skills, with more than 10 years of experience.

• Over 10 years of substantial hands-on experience with the primary technologies listed.

• At least 5 years of experience with three or more of the secondary technologies listed.

• Ability to work remotely as the primary location and travel to customer sites as necessary, up to 50% of the time.

• Strong conceptual and analytical abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to prioritize and organize complex tasks in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Experience in leading and collaborating across teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Exceptional people and personnel management capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent training/education/experience required.

• Certification(s) in one or more of the technologies listed.

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.

• Comprehensive understanding of network, storage, server, and application architecture.

• Familiarity with ITSM concepts.

• Adequate understanding of services outsourcing and PMI PMBOK.

• ITIL Certification is advantageous.

• PMP, IAOP (Outsourcing Professional), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
