PR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Transform book launch objectives into a well-defined marketing and PR strategy, complete with a timeline and actionable priorities.

• Conduct research and pitch to journalists, various publications, media platforms, newsletters, and other channels.

• Identify relevant podcasts, create targeted pitches, manage outreach efforts, and coordinate booking for appearances.

• Investigate and seek out speaking opportunities, events, and platforms that align with our goals.

• Assist in the organization and coordination of a potential multi-city speaking tour.

• Discover local media and promotional avenues surrounding speaking engagements.

• Establish the author as a thought leader in the domains of executive coaching, leadership, business, personal development, and goal-setting.

• Craft personalized pitches, outreach emails, talking points, and various communications.

• Research podcasts, media channels, events, target audiences, trends, and promotional opportunities.

• Collaborate with the book publisher and existing marketing and media contacts.

• Monitor outreach efforts, follow-ups, bookings, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Anticipate subsequent steps, identify gaps, and ensure the launch progresses smoothly.

• Utilize AI tools for research, content creation, analysis, and enhancing marketing efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in PR, media outreach, podcast booking, marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience supporting a thought leader, author, executive, coach, consultant, or professional services brand.

• Strong proficiency in identifying and pursuing podcast, media, speaking, and thought leadership opportunities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong copywriting abilities, particularly for pitches and outreach initiatives.

• Outstanding research and prospecting capabilities.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Highly proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of results.

• Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Adept at working with senior executives and communicating on their behalf.

• Familiarity with AI tools for research, writing, and execution.

• Understanding of the US media, podcast, and thought leadership landscape.

• Must currently reside in the Philippines and possess legal authorization to work there.
