Director of Communications – Public Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive public relations and communications strategy that aligns with business objectives.

• Position five market-facing attorneys as leading authorities in the industry through targeted messaging and visibility initiatives.

• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry publications.

• Create thought leadership content, including articles, speaking opportunities, and social media engagement.

• Convert complex legal concepts into engaging and accessible narratives.

• Prepare and mentor attorneys for media appearances and public engagements.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance digital and online visibility.

• Establish and monitor success metrics related to media engagement and brand awareness.

• Work in tandem with sales, marketing, and leadership to ensure alignment in go-to-market strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.

• Demonstrated success in building or scaling PR/communications programs.

• Experience in professional services, legal, or regulated sectors is preferred.

• Strong media connections and a proven ability to secure coverage.

• Outstanding storytelling and communication abilities.

• Experience in coaching executives or subject matter experts.

• Capability to think strategically while executing hands-on tasks.

• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders.
