PR Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Strategically oversee and manage clients from diverse industries, typically as part of a two- or three-member team.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to C-level executives, heads of communications, and in-house PR managers.

• Craft innovative and editorially robust PR narratives.

• Individually pitch PR stories to journalists.

• Utilize the internal AI tools for research, pitch preparation, and topic identification.

• Work with established KPIs and participate in daily media outreach activities.

• Foster strong client relationships to ensure client success.

• Cultivate and sustain robust connections with journalists at major media outlets in the DACH region and throughout Europe.

• Conduct targeted phone pitches to relevant journalists across a wide array of media platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical PR experience either in an agency setting or in-house.

• Demonstrated success in securing placements in prominent German media outlets.

• Experience in strategically and operationally managing your own client portfolio.

• Knowledge of various media types and the capability to distill complex topics into clear, journalistically engaging stories.

• A well-established network of journalist contacts.

• Self-driven and collaborative team player.

• Familiarity with LLMs or AI-related workflows.

• Proficient in German at a C2 level.

• Strong professional communication skills in English.

• Must be based in Germany.
