PR Manager – B2B Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and oversee PR client accounts from initial strategy to execution.

• Discover newsworthy narratives and engaging media angles derived from company updates, product launches, industry advancements, and market trends.

• Create specific media lists that align with each client's industry and goals.

• Develop and implement effective media outreach and pitching strategies.

• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, reporters, and other relevant media contacts.

• Achieve high-quality earned media coverage, emphasizing reputable and tier-1 publications.

• Collaborate with founders, executives, journalists, and internal teams to craft compelling narratives.

• Keep an eye on pertinent news and industry trends to spot timely PR opportunities.

• Monitor PR results and link media coverage to broader business, brand, and pipeline goals.

• Handle multiple client accounts and campaigns while upholding strong communication and execution standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in Public Relations, Media Relations, or Communications, ideally within the B2B technology sector.

• A solid history of obtaining earned media coverage in respected publications.

• In-depth understanding of how journalists and editors assess pitches and stories.

• Established journalist/media relationships or a proven ability to build relationships promptly.

• Exceptional skill in identifying engaging stories and angles from technical or seemingly routine company information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to independently manage client relationships and PR campaigns from inception to completion.

• Results-driven mindset focused on the quality and business impact of media coverage.

• Experience in securing media coverage within one or more of the following areas: FinTech, B2B SaaS, HealthTech, HR Tech, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Cybersecurity is highly desirable.
