PR Events Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create targeted media lists in the sectors of AI, manufacturing, investment, and real estate.

• Compose press releases, pitch emails, and media briefs.

• Monitor media coverage.

• Identify pertinent trade publications and editorial calendars.

• Assist in drafting articles and expert commentary to position founders as credible voices.

• Track industry awards, innovation lists, and rankings.

• Write award submissions and maintain a timeline of deadlines.

• Research conferences, summits, and investor forums.

• Help secure speaking engagements and panel opportunities for founders.

• Draft speaker biographies, abstracts, and briefing documents.

• Support Vulcury-hosted virtual sessions, launches, and roundtables.

• Collaborate directly with leadership on strategies for media, awards, and events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional, concise, and persuasive writing skills in English (professional working proficiency) and Spanish.

• Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging narratives.

• Strong research skills and organizational capabilities across multiple deadlines and brands.

• Genuine interest in AI, startups, and investment opportunities.

• Background in PR, journalism, student media, debate, or event organization.

• Familiarity with tools such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Muck Rack, Eventbrite, or Luma.

• Educational background in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or a related discipline.

• Availability for full-time commitment.

• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in Mexico.

• Daily overlap with Pacific Time required.

• Submission of CV and one writing sample is mandatory for application.
