This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee the daily and strategic functions of the communications department, which includes planning, timelines, and program monitoring.
• Develop and sustain scalable processes and systems to accommodate departmental growth.
• Monitor budgets, deliverables, and deadlines for ongoing PR and communications initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Fleet, and Distribution teams to ensure communications programs align with business goals.
• Work alongside Program Management, Design, and Engineering teams to incorporate communications and PR requirements into product and program schedules.
• Act as a primary contact for cross-functional partners regarding communications planning and updates.
• Coordinate with the internal fleet team to ready vehicles for events and media engagements.
• Manage timelines and requirements between communications and fleet operations.
• Monitor vehicle and asset availability in relation to event and campaign schedules.
• Identify opportunities for Slate at events, in media, and through strategic partnerships.
• Suggest opportunities to leadership while keeping an eye on industry developments and competitive dynamics.
• Ensure organized, documented, and timely workflows, records, timelines, and status updates are maintained.
• Anticipate potential risks and proactively address conflicts.
• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in program management, communications, or public relations.
• Proven ability to manage programs autonomously.
• Proficient in Smartsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Experience in budget management, timeline coordination, and vendor relations.
• Comfortable navigating scheduling, tracking, and communication platforms.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated individual who recognizes opportunities and presents innovative ideas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to juggle multiple programs and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Proven history in managing communications operations within a rapidly growing company.
• Experience with successful cross-functional collaborations.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States permanently.
