Power Solution Architect – Strategic Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide specialized technical support to Sales teams across the nation during business development and proposal activities.

• Analyze project specifications and assist estimation and design teams.

• Contribute to responses for RFI/RFPs and prepare technical documentation.

• Design scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.

• Ensure that designs fulfill performance, reliability, and operational objectives.

• Assess and select components based on both technical and commercial criteria.

• Suggest design enhancements and alternative solutions.

• Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.

• Adjust solutions based on feedback from customers and stakeholders.

• Represent IEM at industry events and advocate for technical solutions.

• Provide mentorship to teams and assist with training programs.

• Shape technical and commercial strategies to distinguish IEM solutions.

• Promote technology integration and digital transformation initiatives.

• Report to the Power Solutions Architect Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s degree is preferred).

• Over 5 years of experience in power system architecture.

• Background working with an electrical power-distribution OEM.

• Proficiency in UL and IEEE standards as well as industry practices.

• Experience in data-center and colocation power-distribution, including high-availability distribution architectures.

• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.

• Experience in power equipment sales or commercial collaboration.

• Proven leadership in innovation and vendor engagement.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Willingness to travel is required.
