Power Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales teams across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming to deliver technical expertise during business development and proposal activities.

• Analyze project specifications and provide guidance to estimation and design teams.

• Assist in preparing RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation.

• Create scalable, standards-compliant architectures for power systems.

• Ensure that designs fulfill performance, reliability, and operational objectives.

• Assess and choose components based on both technical and commercial criteria.

• Suggest design improvements and alternative solutions.

• Work in collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.

• Enhance solutions based on feedback from customers and stakeholders.

• Represent IEM at industry events and advocate for technical solutions.

• Mentor teams and contribute to training initiatives.

• Shape technical and commercial strategies to set IEM solutions apart.

• Promote technology integration and digital transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment is essential.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power system architecture.

• Proficient in UL, IEEE standards, and industry practices.

• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills are required.

• Familiarity with microgrid applications is beneficial.

• Experience in power equipment sales or commercial collaboration is preferred.

• Leadership in innovation and vendor engagement is necessary.

• Travel will be required for this position.

• Candidates must be located within the United States.
