Power Platform Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the solution architecture for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, integrations, and application lifecycle management.

• Lead the discovery process and translate legacy forms, approval workflows, and external data-exchange requirements into a prioritized product backlog.

• Design strategies for environment management, data loss prevention (DLP), security roles, connector governance, data models, and release management practices.

• Establish technical standards for reusable components, accessibility, error handling, auditability, and supportability.

• Conduct design reviews with business owners, security stakeholders, platform engineers, and development teams.

• Plan the modernization of SharePoint 2019 workflows and Captiva forms to utilize supported cloud-native patterns.

• Operate independently or take on a leadership role while selecting the appropriate persistence technologies.

• Define strategies for source control and design subsystem infrastructure.

• Manage cross-functional delivery to enhance system reliability and scalability.

• Enforce standards through thorough reviews and establish productivity benchmarks for the team.

• Provide functional leadership, organize resources, resolve conflicts, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot complex client issues, support requirements gathering, and contribute to vendor presentations or proposal efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in application, workflow, or business-solution architecture, including at least 4 years with the Power Platform.

• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Platform ALM, and DLP.

• Experience in developing complex workflow, approval, records, or regulated data-processing solutions.

• Ability to lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into actionable architecture decisions.

• Strong skills in written design documentation and customer-facing communication.

• Experience with GCC High or government-tenant Power Platform (preferred).

• Power Platform Solution Architect certification (preferred).

• Experience in modernizing legacy document workflows or key-punch applications (preferred).
