Power BI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the implementation and adoption of Power BI throughout the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Create, develop, and sustain dashboards that deliver real-time insights into key performance indicators such as MRR, churn, CAC, and operational performance.

• Integrate Power BI with Salesforce, ERP systems, SQL databases, and subscription platforms.

• Construct scalable data models utilizing DAX and Power Query to enable high-performance reporting and forecasting.

• Provide customized training and support to business users to promote self-service analytics and enhance data literacy.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, IT, and Product teams to gather requirements and provide effective analytics solutions.

• Establish and enforce data governance best practices focused on security, compliance, and data integrity.

• Oversee Power BI initiatives from inception to completion, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and delivery.

• Enhance dashboard performance and reliability while proactively resolving technical issues.

• Stay updated on new Power BI features and suggest innovations to improve analytics capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Power BI experience within a software or subscription business environment.

• Proven experience in constructing SaaS metrics dashboards.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or alternative modern CRM systems from both data and sales-cycle perspectives.

• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, dataflows, and data modeling.

• Experience with Salesforce, SQL Server, and ERP systems.

• In-depth knowledge of recurring revenue, churn, retention, and other SaaS metrics.

• Capability to proactively identify and develop the data required for dashboards.

• Proven ability to lead projects and align both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills with experience in mentoring or enabling others.

• Skill in translating business questions into measurable metrics, datasets, and dashboards.

• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and best practices in BI deployment.

• A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Power BI certification, Agile project experience, or familiarity with Python, R, or Tableau are desirable.

• A natural curiosity and a growth mindset.
