Power BI Analyst, Bilingual, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement engaging dashboards in Power BI, including key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and paginated reports.

• Establish connections to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud data warehouses, and APIs.

• Cleanse and organize data utilizing Power Query.

• Create, optimize, and manage intricate DAX calculations, measures, and queries.

• Review and enhance the performance of existing reports and DAX calculations, along with data refresh speed and scalability.

• Oversee user roles and permissions in Power BI workspaces, manage app distribution, gateway connections, and scheduled refreshes.

• Document the logic behind data transformation processes.

• Facilitate training sessions to empower end users in conducting self-service analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient or fluent in English.

• Advanced skills in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query Editor, and gateway administration.

• Expert-level knowledge of SQL for data extraction purposes.

• Familiarity with M and DAX languages for data manipulation tasks.

• Comprehensive understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks, relational databases, and data warehousing principles.

• Experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse, or with Microsoft Fabric.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for dashboards, emphasizing data clarity and visual storytelling.

• Knowledge of advanced analytics tools, such as Python and R, or version control systems like Git.
