Portuguese Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with language models regarding various language scenarios

• Assess the factual accuracy and logical consistency of the outputs

• Capture and document reproducible error traces

• Record instances of model failure modes

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Challenge advanced language models on topics related to the Portuguese language to enhance model reasoning

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Portuguese (Portugal) language

• In-depth knowledge of Portuguese phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics

• Capability to analyze verb conjugation, noun-adjective agreement, sentence structure, word order, accentuation, and colloquial expressions

• A master's or PhD in Portuguese language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferable

• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or practical linguistic analysis projects demonstrate suitability

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate your thought process

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet as a contractor
