Portfolio Strategist – Innovation at Scale

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage assigned propositions through the stages of intake, development, gate reviews, launch, and refresh.

• Create and ensure quality of proposition toolkits, which include client-facing narratives, qualification guidance, proof points, competitive positioning, and commercial inputs.

• Coordinate teams involved under a unified brief and shared timeline.

• Prepare gate reviews and secure documented approvals prior to advancing stages.

• Conduct quarterly refresh cycles and integrate insights from successes and failures.

• Oversee the portfolio for overlaps, white space opportunities, and propositions that may need to be discontinued.

• Present portfolio recommendations to the Executive Portfolio Strategist.

• Collaborate with narrative, enablement, commercial, and operations teams.

• Develop propositions centered on AI, data, emerging technology, agentic AI, and enterprise adoption from pilot phases to production.

• Assess launch readiness, adherence to schedules, toolkit quality, refresh frequency, market usage, market adoption, pipeline, and signings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in offering or product strategy, product marketing, proposition development, or consulting, particularly in building and launching repeatable offers.

• Demonstrated experience managing a structured lifecycle or stage-gate process.

• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into client-centric offerings.

• Capability to coordinate senior contributors across various functions without having formal authority.

• Ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple live propositions simultaneously.

• Sufficient technical fluency to engage in discussions about offerings with practice experts.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI adoption is highly advantageous.

• Background in a large consulting, professional services, or technology services firm is a plus.

• Depth of knowledge in AI and data relevant to the portfolio is beneficial.

• Experience with commercial and pricing considerations is advantageous.

• Familiarity with competitive positioning and win/loss analysis is a plus.
