Portal Entry, Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer portals by applying additional fees when necessary and uploading documentation for payments.

• Work collaboratively with Accounts Receivable (A/R) team members to facilitate payments and address unresolved portal issues.

• Monitor daily progress within the Portal Entry queue.

• Participate in bi-weekly meetings with leadership to review outstanding challenges related to customer payment portals and discuss process enhancements.

• Document exception procedures for customer payment portals utilizing Excel spreadsheets or Google Sheets.

• Maintain weekly imports of portal notes to provide payment status updates for the A/R team.

• Liaise with A/R analysts regarding any rejected invoices related to portal transactions.

• Occasionally act as a supplementary resource for the indexing team.

• Ensure that portal entry customers and tasks are accurately documented and aligned with an approved Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

• Undertake additional projects or responsibilities as directed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of clerical or billing experience.

• Ability to read and understand contracts to guarantee accurate billing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and TMW (Trucking Maintenance Software).

• Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

• Some college education is preferred.

• Availability for full-time work, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Capability to perform office-related physical tasks, including frequent talking, hearing, sitting, typing, reaching, and grasping.

• May require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, or crouching.

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
