Pole Permitting Coordinator

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee permitting activities as directed by OSP Construction.

β€’ Identify required permits and coordinate resources, both internal and external, along with permitting agencies.

β€’ Secure approvals, file permit applications, and prepare prompt responses.

β€’ Engage with agencies and internal departments to foster relationships and support market growth.

β€’ Manage tasks to meet scheduled expectations, eliminate obstacles, and utilize analytics to foresee potential issues.

β€’ Implement technical and innovative solutions to finalize permitting acquisitions.

β€’ Project permit release dates to assist construction in planning resources effectively.

β€’ Direct internal teams to accurately and promptly submit pole applications.

β€’ Compile, submit, and monitor permit applications; inform management of any delays and propose actionable solutions.

β€’ Collaborate with centralized permit teams to synchronize permit submissions with field construction timelines.

β€’ Track and monitor permit packages through online platforms, emails, or in-person visits.

β€’ Observe projects and communicate the status of permits.

β€’ Travel to various locations to expedite and facilitate permit approvals.

β€’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

β€’ Preferable experience with permitting across multiple states.

β€’ Experience in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams is advantageous.

β€’ Capability to collaborate within a team, manage diverse personalities, and drive projects to completion.

β€’ Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

β€’ Required to interact with all organizational levels, including external agencies.

β€’ Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary.

β€’ Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

β€’ Must reside in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin.

β€’ Must be able to work with the Eastern Time Zone.
