Podcast Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Identify opportunities and craft compelling story pitches.

• Travel globally to connect with individuals, ask insightful questions, and collect audio recordings.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Creative Media.

• Conduct interviews and create narrative-driven audio stories.

• Assist in building a creative core team, including aiding in the recruitment of an editor, field producer, and contract engineers.

• Work alongside the team to edit stories into polished podcast episodes.

• Oversee production and contribute creative ideas directly within the editing timeline as needed.

• Investigate authentic responses to poverty in collaboration with organizations worldwide.

• Share narratives highlighting effective solutions for those in poverty and the experiences of Christ's disciples.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in audio production.

• Proven expertise as an audio storyteller with a robust portfolio of narratives.

• Self-motivated with the ability to shape and own the creative vision.

• Capable of connecting with a diverse range of individuals.

• Curious and devoted follower of Jesus.

• Strong commitment to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Chalmers Center.

• Active engagement in a local church community.

• Aim to apply the gospel across all aspects of life, including interpersonal relationships.

• Employ a humble listening approach with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Rely on the Holy Spirit and seek divine guidance in decision-making.

• Ability to flourish within a team that values excellence, humility, hope, and unity.

• Willingness to affirm a personal belief in Jesus Christ in alignment with the organization's mission and values.

• Preferred: Experience in narrative audio editing.

• Preferred: Interdisciplinary background in community development, economics, sociology, anthropology, missiology, or theology.
