This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Oversee the complete delivery of several simultaneous projects with varying sizes, complexities, and strategic significance.
β’ Create and uphold detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables.
β’ Define clear project scope, goals, success criteria, and governance structures.
β’ Propel project execution while ensuring that deliverables are achieved timely, within scope, and according to budget.
β’ Manage project interdependencies and proactively tackle obstacles to successful delivery.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects and offer strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Facilitate project meetings, steering committee gatherings, workshops, and stakeholder evaluations.
β’ Provide project updates, executive summaries, dashboards, and presentations to leadership.
β’ Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, risks, and outcomes.
β’ Ensure projects adhere to PMO standards, methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices.
β’ Engage in project intake, prioritization, and portfolio planning activities.
β’ Champion continuous improvement initiatives that refine PMO processes, tools, reporting, and project delivery capabilities.
β’ Identify project risks and assist in formulating mitigation strategies.
β’ Monitor and escalate issues as necessary to project leadership.
β’ Support tracking of change requests and impact assessments.
β’ Evaluate project performance using KPIs, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
β’ Prepare and present project and portfolio status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Monitor project benefits realization and assess the achievement of business outcomes.
β’ Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support leadership in decision-making.
β’ 8-12 years of progressive experience in project management, including the oversight of multiple concurrent projects.
β’ Proven experience leading medium-to-large, cross-functional projects in complex organizational settings.
β’ Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods.
β’ Established ability to influence stakeholders and foster alignment across business and technical teams.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
β’ PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
β’ Experience working in a PMO or enterprise portfolio management environment is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with project portfolio and work management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms is preferred.
β’ Experience leading projects related to process improvement, technology implementations, organizational change, or operational transformation is preferred.
β’ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
β’ Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking.
