This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and make diagnoses.

• Prescribe and oversee the administration of psychotropic medications.

• Track treatment outcomes and modify care plans accordingly.

• Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and other healthcare providers in a cohesive care model.

• Execute TMS cortical mappings as needed at the site or partner practice.

• Supervise staff technicians conducting daily TMS treatments when applicable to the site or partner practice.

• Deliver thorough psychiatric assessments, medication management, TMS services when relevant, and continuous outpatient care.

• Facilitate safe medication prescribing, engage patients, and collaborate with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state where healthcare services are delivered.

• Valid and unrestricted nursing licenses in the state where healthcare services are provided.

• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number and all other necessary licenses and certifications to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

• At least 1 year of post-certification experience; outpatient experience is preferred.

• Ability to function independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of medical processes and procedures.

• Required professional liability insurance policy in place.

• Compliance with regulations related to prescription drug monitoring programs.

• Experience in treating a diverse range of age groups is preferred.

• Comfort with telepsychiatry practices is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based medication protocols is preferred.
