Platform Engineer – Platform Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to software engineers on optimal practices and strategies for infrastructure management.

• Create and execute solutions to improve reliability, scalability, and observability within AWS infrastructure.

• Assess and enhance current systems and the processes for infrastructure delivery.

• Establish, maintain, and expand cross-account AWS environments.

• Guarantee security and compliance across AWS infrastructures.

• Enhance workflows for continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Automate crucial infrastructure updates and routine tasks.

• Work collaboratively with software engineers, platform teams, and security specialists.

• Develop and scale the core of Constructor’s distributed platform engineering infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure.

• Extensive experience in managing AWS infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.

• Proficient in monitoring and observability systems such as Prometheus, ElasticSearch, VictoriaMetrics, or similar tools.

• Emphasis on maintaining high availability and performance.

• Experience in designing, building, and overseeing reliable cloud infrastructure.

• Background in automating and optimizing infrastructure at scale.

• Capability to advise software engineers on best practices for infrastructure.

• Experience in managing cross-account AWS environments.

• Proven ability to improve CI/CD pipelines.

• Eligibility to work as an independent contractor in the current country of residence.
