This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Join the Engineering Platform - Evolving Assets team to contribute to the advancement of the internal engineering platform.
• Develop and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, along with upcoming initiatives utilizing GitHub Actions.
• Work with platforms based on Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, managing and deploying applications in containerized environments.
• Design and build dashboards, metrics, and observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Automate tasks and processes through Shell Scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote best practices in Platform Engineering, deployment, monitoring, and application operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and the evolution of the technological platform.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar roles within Engineering Platform teams.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift in both development and operational environments.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps; familiarity with GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of automation through Shell Scripting.
• Experience in observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack, including dashboards, metrics, and reports.
• Understanding of Cloud Fundamentals in enterprise cloud environments.
• Ability to work in collaborative Platform Engineering settings.
• Strong teamwork skills and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum B2 level of English is desirable.
• Experience or knowledge in Backstage, GitHub Actions, advanced observability, automation, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and Platform Engineering is valued.
• Certifications related to Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, or Cloud are considered a plus.
