Platform Engineer – DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance a scalable, automated infrastructure platform for software development environments.

• Automate the provisioning and management of hybrid environments, both on-premises and cloud-based, utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Orchestrate and automate the deployment, configuration, and operation of applications.

• Create and implement Zero-Trust network architectures grounded in modern security frameworks.

• Develop self-healing mechanisms and monitoring systems to maintain system stability.

• Collaborate closely with international DevSecOps teams to standardize global toolchains.

• Assess and integrate innovative technologies such as GitOps and AIOps within an agile team setting.

• Build and manage a scalable infrastructure platform for all Saab locations in Germany.

• Ensure a secure and stable working environment for employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training in IT coupled with relevant professional experience.

• Significant professional experience in Dev(Sec)Ops, Linux, and both containerized and virtualized systems.

• Expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitOps, and network security.

• A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience working independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
