Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Enhance the developer experience and boost engineering productivity by creating tools and workflows for software development, testing, and deployment.

• Oversee infrastructure automation utilizing Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt.

• Strengthen the reliability and efficiency of CI/CD processes.

• Analyze sluggish builds, unsuccessful pipelines, and unstable tests.

• Create internal tools and enhance the testing infrastructure.

• Occasionally contribute to product feature development.

• Elevate observability across infrastructure and delivery processes using OpenTelemetry and ELK.

• Develop cloud-based AI agent tools and assist teams in adopting effective engineering methodologies.

• Collaborate with a team of over 100 engineers on infrastructure, tooling, and delivery workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining intricate CI/CD workflows.

• Background in software development, specifically in creating internal tools, APIs, backend services, or automation solutions.

• Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud service providers.

• Experience in telemetry and monitoring using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Kibana.

• Solid foundation in Computer Science and System Design principles.

• Eagerness to learn and work with Ruby and/or Go.

• Experience in optimizing CI build durations, particularly with Jenkins.

• Proficiency in Docker or Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.

• Acquaintance with build systems like Webpack or Gradle.

• Eligibility to work for any employer in Poland without the need for visa support, now or in the future.
