Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions.

• Develop and maintain telemetry ingestion pipelines utilizing NetFlow, sFlow, and IPFIX.

• Enhance and support DDoS detection and mitigation platforms.

• Analyze network traffic patterns to offer insights for optimization and security.

• Define and execute Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies.

• Facilitate observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across various platforms.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams on platform and network projects.

• Integrate and provide support for traffic intelligence platforms such as Nokia Deepfield.

• Offer technical leadership and contribute to architectural standards.

• Create and maintain documentation and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, DNS, and SNMP.

• Professional experience in a service provider network environment.

• Proficient with NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX, and traffic telemetry systems.

• Familiar with DDoS detection and mitigation techniques.

• Proven experience managing DDoS platforms such as Nokia Deepfield, Netscout Arbor, or similar systems.

• Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and automation processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Proficient in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Experience with big data platforms such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least five years of experience in platform engineering, network engineering, or architectural roles.

• Must be eligible to work without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
