This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and oversee a comprehensive installation plan, establishing sequential assembly work orders in collaboration with the Site Manager and Construction Manager.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and ensure adherence to deadlines and project milestones.
• Guarantee the availability of labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the project.
• Oversee the logistics of receiving and storing materials while maintaining site supply in line with the plan.
• Track subcontractor progress, comparing planned performance against actual outcomes, and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage risks that could affect the project timeline.
• Ensure the most current project document revisions are utilized (Issued for Construction).
• Assist in managing non-conformances (NCRs) related to their impact on schedules and work with Engineering and Management to coordinate solutions.
• Evaluate feedback from field operations and advocate for lessons learned and productivity standards.
• Incorporate HSE guidelines throughout all phases of the schedule, emphasizing employee safety and asset protection.
• Completed technical education (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrotechnical) or a university degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in managing construction planning for electromechanical projects, especially in hydroelectric power plants and small hydropower plants (SHPs).
• Advanced skills in planning software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
• Intermediate English language skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Spanish, including technical translation and communication in meetings.
• Willingness and availability to undertake frequent international and domestic travel to project sites.
