Planning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, prioritize, assess, and allocate critical resources daily, including drilling rigs and PLSVs, to support production maintenance operations and investment initiatives.

• Evaluate existing business processes (as-is), forecast requirements, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Review and structure requirements, design future-state processes (to-be), validate information, and identify viable solutions.

• Confirm solutions align with business needs and requirements, eliminate adoption constraints and barriers, and evaluate outcomes.

• Develop analytical dashboards and ensure data quality for the Drilling Rig and PLSV Operational Control teams.

• Investigate technical specifics and create visual summaries in PowerPoint for executive presentations.

• Draft comprehensive Word documents for effective communication across all organizational tiers.

• Provide clear options to facilitate decision-making while taking into account diverse stakeholder perspectives.

• Analyze data and assess asset performance throughout the value chain, including actuals, variances, trends, and forecasts.

• Execute other similar tasks of comparable complexity and scope.

• Proficient in advanced Excel for managing extensive data sets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to simplify complex topics into straightforward solutions and unite stakeholders.

• Curious and self-directed, thriving in an ambiguous and evolving environment.

• Customer- and data-centric approach.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

• Background in planning and control, process development, and reengineering.

• Proficient in developing and operationalizing data and metrics.

• Substantial experience in logistics, supply chain management, fleet management, data analysis/business analysis, or business processes, or equivalent experience subject to contract oversight approval.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Active registration with the relevant professional engineering council.

• Microsoft-certified Power BI professional with certifications 70-778, PL-330, 70-799, or equivalent.

• SQL knowledge preferred for database querying and analysis generation.
