Piping Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create piping layouts, pipe routing plans, equipment drawings, and associated mechanical design documentation.

• Assist with piping alterations, equipment replacement tasks, system layout revisions, and design changes driven by field requirements.

• Collaborate on piping and mechanical layouts considering structural, electrical, civil, and field constraints.

• Utilize AutoCAD and Navisworks for layout reviews, conflict identification, and to facilitate model-based coordination.

• Partner with engineering teams to document system interfaces, support locations, equipment specifications, and installation details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Piping Designer, Pipe Support Designer, Mechanical Designer, or in a similar plant design capacity.

• Proficient in AutoCAD is essential.

• Experience with Navisworks is advantageous.

• Capability to visualize in 3D and comprehend the integration of piping, supports, equipment, and adjacent systems in the field.

• Preferred background in supporting projects within nuclear, power generation, industrial, or highly regulated facilities.

• Experience in pipe routing, pipe supports, racks, plant modifications, and mechanical layout design is necessary.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping layouts, equipment drawings, specifications, and field data.

• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams.

• Completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification will be required at the commencement of employment if selected.
