This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct proactive research and analysis to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential high-value individual and institutional donor prospects.
• Prepare and present prospect intelligence, which includes donor profiles, capacity and affinity assessments, relationship insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Assist in pipeline development and prospect management activities.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of internal agentic AI solutions for prospecting, prospect research, relationship identification, and the integration of external data.
• Contribute to AI-driven solutions focused on prospect risk analysis.
• Evaluate and support the adoption of both internally developed and vendor-supplied AI tools.
• Create predictive models utilizing machine learning techniques to enhance donor placement within pipelines and programs.
• Optimize model performance, execute and update models, and ensure near-real-time availability of model results.
• Convert predictive analytics and graph database outputs into actionable donor engagement recommendations.
• Assess internal and vendor-supplied data for its utility, accuracy, and potential for modeling.
• Expand and improve the donor graph database.
• Conduct regular analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support donor understanding and fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with GKIM, Analytics and Development Operations, and Data and Platform Systems teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Social Sciences, Economics, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in research and/or data analytics, or proven experience in independent academic research.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with machine learning modeling techniques, including random forest and gradient boosting.
• Understanding of social network analysis.
• Knowledge of agentic AI.
• Experience with prospect research for philanthropic fundraising.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
• Capability to develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Fluency in English is required.
