Physician, Virtual Health Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality care to patients utilizing Oscar's platforms through phone and video consultations.

• Act as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers.

• Offer direct oversight and guidance to nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.

• Deliver virtual medical services via phone, video, and messaging, adhering to Oscar Medical Group's guidelines, practices, and policies.

• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare providers across various service lines.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

• Commit to working two 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, including a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

• Travel occasionally for team meetings and company events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Proficiency in Spanish as verified by a proctored assessment.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine setting.

• Licensed in at least 2 core Oscar States.

• Possess a TN License and one of either TX or FL licenses.

• Active IMLCC certification or eligibility to apply.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states with assistance from Oscar.

• Familiarity with value-based care documentation standards.

• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
