Physician Reviewer, MD/DO – Medical AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical EHR vignettes accompanied by questions, suggested answers, and misleading “trap” answers related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Analyze vignettes covering cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Evaluate the quality of clinical reasoning, the accuracy and completeness of vignettes, the correctness and gradeability of answers, and the quality of trap answers.

• Determine if reasoning leads to the answer based solely on the facts presented in the vignette.

• Correct reasoning paths and compose concise rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind reads, followed by physician review and adjudication.

• Fulfill project responsibilities for leading technology firms through Mindrift’s medical AI evaluation initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based, actively practicing physician (MD or DO).

• Possess a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Hold an active, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed by the issuing medical board.

• Have board certification or completed residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level preferred.

• Extensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Previous experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Proficient written English skills (C1+ level).

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals holding non-clinical healthcare positions.

• Availability for approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.

• Capability to submit tasks by deadlines and meet specified acceptance criteria.
