Director – AI Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee AI transformation projects from start to finish, including diagnosis and implementation.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and take responsibility for the results of engagements.

• Create transformation roadmaps based on client limitations and ensure their execution.

• Pinpoint high-impact AI use cases and create prototypes that evolve from concepts to functional products.

• Collaborate closely with clients’ internal teams in a hands-on capacity.

• Articulate complex AI ideas, technical limitations, and strategic tradeoffs to boards, C-suite executives, and frontline staff.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and outline new engagement scopes.

• Strengthen existing client relationships as their requirements change.

• Utilize AI tools within Human Agency and client workflows.

• Influence how Human Agency executes work, learns, and grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, venture-backed startups, product strategy, or a combination of these fields.

• Direct accountability for outcomes rather than just deliverables.

• Proven success in transitioning AI from concept to practical application within an organization.

• Proficient in foundation models, workflow automation, prompt engineering, and evaluating build-versus-buy decisions.

• Demonstrated capability to manage senior-level client relationships, navigate organizational dynamics, handle ambiguity, and maintain the momentum of complex projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience composing executive summaries, facilitating working sessions with skeptical executives, and explaining technical frameworks to non-technical founders.

• Proven track record in building 0-to-1 products and delivering a product, tool, workflow, or other solutions.

• Attributes of accountability, curiosity, a builder-first mindset, self-management, and practical AI experimentation.

• Capacity to provide evidence of AI-driven projects.

• Bonus: Experience in venture studios, high-growth AI or tech companies, or roles that blend strategy and product development.
