Physician – Emotional Support Animal Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Perform evaluations for emotional support animals virtually.

• Utilize independent clinical judgment to either approve or deny letters based on established criteria.

• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of assessments.

• Ensure letters are completed accurately and within the specified timeframe.

• Issue and write emotional support animal letters for clients who have been approved, within two business days following consultation.

• Treat each client with respect and dignity.

• Work collaboratively with the Pettable team and clients to provide follow-up support or necessary documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

• Must hold a valid license in the state of Colorado.

• Preferred experience in issuing emotional support animal letters and understanding relevant regulations, though not mandatory.

• Experience with telephonic and/or virtual consultations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A positive and proactive attitude.

• Proficient with technology and capable of troubleshooting computer or connectivity issues.
