This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform telehealth consultations with both new and returning patients, averaging 16–20 sessions each day.

• Evaluate and manage weight-related conditions and comorbidities from a primary care perspective.

• Offer evidence-based recommendations on weight loss medications, including GLP-1s such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, along with lifestyle strategies.

• Address patient inquiries regarding treatment plans and their progress.

• Establish a compassionate connection with patients experiencing overweight or obesity.

• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications and documentation.

• Keep updated on the latest practices in obesity medicine, chronic disease management, and primary care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid California NP or PA license (mandatory).

• NP (ANCC/AANP certified) or PA (NCCPA certified).

• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.

• Background in primary care.

• At least 6 months of experience supporting weight management patients, including the prescribing and management of injectable medications (preferred).

• Familiarity with compounded weight loss medications (a plus).

• Proficient in using telemedicine platforms, EHRs, and clinical documentation systems.

• Excellent communication abilities and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

• Self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for assisting patients in achieving their health objectives.

• Must have reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional remote working environment.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Eligibility for Medicare enrollment is necessary.
