Physical Therapist – Value Based Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate patient conditions and collaborate with physicians and patients/families to set goals, treatments, and care plans.

• Ensure the implementation of suitable interdisciplinary treatments and consult with physicians regarding physical therapy aspects that impact patient health.

• Record findings, treatments, and patient details in medical documentation.

• Educate patients and their families on suitable care and the use of therapy/exercises.

• Act as a resource for information and education for patients, families, and staff.

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Technicians.

• Provide ongoing educational support to Physical Therapy staff and serve as a resource.

• Aid the director with issues related to patient care.

• Uphold patient confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid and active state licensure/current state license is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or remote physical therapy clinic.

• Required experience in orthopedics.

• Familiarity with physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.

• Understanding of clinic policies, procedures, regulations, safety/infection control, and quality control.

• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment.

• Proficiency in medical terminology.

• Ability to evaluate and treat patients appropriately.

• Effective communication skills with both in-house and external physicians and referral sources.

• Proficiency in using computer systems/EMR for accurate documentation.

• Ability to identify clinic hazards and assess fall-risk patients.

• Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, and staff.

• Ability to supervise and mentor physical therapy personnel.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to serve as a resource for patients and staff.
