Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional abilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with the physician’s prescribed care plan and adhere to California’s Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Inform patients and their families or caregivers about therapeutic exercises, equipment utilization, and recovery objectives.

• Work in conjunction with physicians and the healthcare team—reporting any changes in patient status and engaging in case discussions.

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, oversee Home Health Aide care on a bi-weekly basis.

• Handle documentation, including clinical progress summaries and discharge plans.

• Recognize the need for additional home health services and coordinate referrals as needed.

• Undertake other responsibilities as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active Physical Therapy license in California.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; home health experience is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
