Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess the functional status, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion (ROM) of patients to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with the physician’s care plan and adhere to California’s Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Educate patients, their families, or caregivers on therapeutic exercises, equipment utilization, and recovery objectives.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, reporting any changes in patient conditions and participating in case discussions.

• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, supervise Home Health Aide care on a bi-weekly basis.

• Manage documentation including clinical progress notes and discharge planning.

• Identify the need for additional home health services and coordinate necessary referrals.

• Perform any additional duties as needed to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active Physical Therapy license in California.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; experience in home health is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills and the capability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
