Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional abilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in line with the physician’s care plan and the California Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Inform patients and their families or caregivers about therapeutic exercises, equipment usage, and recovery objectives.

• Collaborate with physicians and the care team by reporting any changes in patient condition and participating in case discussions.

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, oversee Home Health Aide care bi-weekly.

• Handle documentation, including clinical progress summaries and discharge planning.

• Recognize the need for additional home health services and coordinate referrals as necessary.

• Execute other duties as needed to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current California Physical Therapy license.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; experience in home health is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

• Valid CPR certification from AHA.

• Current driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
