Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional abilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion (ROM) to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with the physician’s care plan and the California Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Inform patients and their families or caregivers about therapeutic exercises, equipment usage, and recovery objectives.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team—reporting any changes in patient status and participating in case discussions.

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, oversee Home Health Aide care bi-weekly.

• Handle documentation, including clinical progress reports and discharge planning.

• Recognize the need for additional home health services and manage referrals as necessary.

• Execute other duties essential for patient care services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid California Physical Therapy license.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; experience in home health is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Valid driver’s license and a dependable, insured vehicle.
