Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional capabilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with the physician’s prescribed care plan and adhere to California’s Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Instruct patients and their families or caregivers on therapeutic exercises, the use of equipment, and objectives for recovery.

• Work collaboratively with physicians and the care team—reporting any changes in patient condition and taking part in case conferences.

• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants and, when physical therapy is the only skilled service, supervise Home Health Aide care on a bi-weekly basis.

• Handle documentation including clinical progress summaries and discharge planning.

• Determine needs for additional home health services and arrange referrals as necessary.

• Perform other responsibilities as needed for patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current California Physical Therapy license.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; experience in home health is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

• Up-to-date CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
