Photographer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Capture, log, and deliver outstanding images from numerous performances each weekend.

• Collaborate with the Video Specialist and Technical Assistant to guarantee optimal stage lighting for photography.

• Assist with the operations of the Video Specialist.

• Set up and ensure the functionality of cameras and related software.

• Troubleshoot any equipment and setup issues as necessary.

• Provide consistent, high-quality photographs that meet color and composition standards.

• Supply marketing and social media images in collaboration with the Social Media Team.

• Assist with stage setup after the media setup is finished.

• Support truck load-in/load-out and gear handling.

• Attend regional and possibly national live dance competition events throughout the event season.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in photographing live events (sports, dance, weddings, or similar) is preferred.

• Proficient in using photography cameras and understanding photography fundamentals.

• Strong reading comprehension and communication skills are essential.

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and computer networking.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude during lengthy workdays in dynamic settings.

• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to various travel arrangements (airports, car rentals, road trips).

• Must live within a reasonable distance from a U.S. international airport or hub.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues during event assignments.

• All new or first-year event staff are required to attend an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho.
