This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Strategically develop, nurture, manage, solicit, and cultivate a portfolio of planned giving donors and prospects through digital channels.
• Identify and qualify new donors to enhance the planned giving pipeline and increase revenue from planned and outright donations.
• Foster long-lasting relationships with high-value donors, affluent prospects, and significant volunteers.
• Design personalized engagement and fundraising strategies, incorporating solicitation opportunities.
• Oversee a digital portfolio of 500–1000 prospective donors.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate both outright and planned donations and act as the lead for bequest and planned giving efforts.
• Engage and nurture donor relationships through personal visits, events, written communication, phone calls, virtual interactions, and other outreach methods.
• Create and execute donor cultivation and solicitation strategies following moves management best practices.
• Provide information on planned giving, tax implications, and fundraising to donors.
• Confirm new members of the Danny Thomas St. Jude Society by following up on leads.
• Record donor interactions and communications using technological tools, CRM systems, PG Calc, and Crescendo.
• Organize and implement at least two local in-person Donor Appreciation Luncheons and/or Donor Virtual Gatherings.
• Host events and manage logistics while coordinating follow-ups with internal and external partners and vendors.
• Keep updated on industry trends, processes, policies, as well as St. Jude's mission, research, and patient care.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, divisions, colleagues, community organizations, businesses, and other entities.
• Attend or provide support at regional and national events as needed.
• Identify key initiatives and supervise assigned-area plans that align with ALSAC's strategic objectives and St. Jude fundraising goals.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, planned giving, or major gifts.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proven success in donor cultivation and relationship management.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time, including evenings and weekends; additional travel for conferences (10–25%).
• Experience in bequest and major gift fundraising.
• A strategic thinker and a cooperative team player.
• Familiarity with planned giving tools and CRM systems.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Responsibilities involving the assigned donor portfolio necessitate both in-person donor cultivation efforts as well as strategic stewardship and personalized outreach; the digital role also encompasses virtual cultivation efforts.
