This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls from customers, healthcare providers, and pharmacies related to prescription inquiries

• Authenticate and confirm prescription details, such as dosage, medication names, and patient information

• Record customer issues, complaints, and prescription-related matters

• Offer assistance with prescription refills, medication compliance, potential drug interactions, and general medication knowledge

• Access and modify customer records and prescription information using computer systems and software applications

• Liaise with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and pharmacies to confirm, authorize, and process prescriptions

• Refer complex or urgent matters to pharmacists or supervisors

• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze call center performance metrics, including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and quality benchmarks

• Keep abreast of industry regulations, medication trends, and new pharmaceutical developments

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Must be a resident and hold a Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification in one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, or Vermont

• Candidate must secure a Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license (application and fee) upon employment

• Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) preferred

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Rhode Island or Massachusetts preferred

• A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week
