This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.
• Address patient and insurance concerns through phone communications, voicemails, written correspondence, and in-person interactions with walk-in patients.
• Confirm patient account balances, process payments, and accurately enter these transactions into the system.
• Engage in communication and teamwork with colleagues to achieve account resolution.
• Manage incoming mail and process patient refunds as necessary.
• Conduct cash posting, billing tasks, and follow up with patients as required.
• Successfully handle 95% of calls directed to individual Customer Service Call Center queues.
• Thoroughly document all account activities in the patient accounting system.
• A minimum of one year of experience in health care is preferred, whether in a physician's office, hospital setting, or admissions department.
• Candidates must be able to reside and work primarily in one of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
